Guan Ziyu is currently a full professor in the Northwest University of China. He received the BS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Zhejiang University in 2004 and 2010, respectively. His research directions include machine learning, data mining and pattern recognition. He has published nearly 30 high quality papers in top international journals/conferences, such as IEEE TKDE, VLDB, SIGMOD, SIGIR, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI and SIGKDD. In 2015, he received the National Excellent Youth Science Foundation of NSFC. He is currently an associated editor for Neurocomputing, and the International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics. He has served (or is serving) in the program committees of related high level international conferences, e.g. SIGKDD, IJCAI, AAAI, NIPS. He was the co-organizing chair of PCM 2016.
